The Bottom Shelf Society will gather next at Char Bar on Wednesday, September 16.
A midweek gathering. A Columbus institution. A basement people will bring up whether anyone asks or not.
Members are encouraged to bring someone new, provided that person improves the room. This is not open enrollment. This is recommendation-based expansion, which sounds more official than it currently is.
The High Council has been partially established and may or may not be exercising responsible judgment by then.
Attendance is encouraged, not required, and not monitored by any recognized authority.
